Continuation...

The 2nd day of our Utah trip we decided to go take a hike to a "waterfall". It was over 100* that day, and we were all toasting. We took many rests in the shade, Kaleb and Jazelle loved the adventure. Before heading forward on the hike my Brother in law Luke went ahead to see if there was actually any water. Good thing he went ahead because there was no water, only a little sink hole. Where the boys enjoyed throwing rocks into. So we headed back to town.

A few blocks from my sister in laws house they have a park that has a stream running through it, where the kids go and play. This is where we ended up after the hike. We ate lunch and the kids all went and splashed in the stream.
Kaleb had a good time playing with his cousin Dallin. Later that day I was walking on the grass barefoot, to throw something in the trash, and I feel this pain in my toe, so I lifted it up to see what I had stepped on and I saw a spikey thing in my toe and thought it was a thorn, but figured it out and it was a bee stinger. I had steped on on bee. I had to pull it out and man did it hurt. Who would of thought such a tiny little thing has so much power. I had to soak my foot in the cold stream water to relieve the pain. Later on that night my leg began to feel numb and tingly, like a pinch nerve feeling. The next day it was gone. After the kids went to bed all the adults played a newly wed game which was so fun! I think Jason and I came in 2nd place. Because of our lack of experiences we knew eachothers answers.

Bryce Canyon, Ut

Every year we have a family vacation with Jason's family. We were so excited for this day, because it's been over a year since we've seen eachother. It was a very long drive to Ut. so we decide to leave a day early and stay in Vegas! We stayed in the Circus Circus hotel. It took us 6 hrs to get to Vegas and Jazelle surprisingly stayed awake the whole time! She was good and did not fuss. Kaleb and Jazelle loved driving down the strip and looking at all the lights. We checked into our room and went straight down to go play games. Kaleb loves the carnival games. We even won a few, and got to see the mini circus act. After that we all finally went to bed at 11pm. In the morning we headed to Cedar City, Ut. where Jason's sister lives and spent 2 days at her house before going camping at Bryce canyon.

This is so true! Jazelle has lately been able to find the tiniest thing on the floor and begins to pick at it, the proceeds to put it in her mouth.

Models?

I have always wanted to put my kids in a Modeling Agency. After being turned down before I have decided to try again with newer photos. This time we were called for an Interview! I am so excited and nervous. August 3rd is our date. I know Kaleb will do fine, he is not shy at all. And Jazelle will just win them over with her cuteness! This means shopping time!

Here are the winning pictures.

My Eye

My eyes have been itching for 5 days now, after buying non itch eye drops and having them not work I decide to go into the doctor to see what was going on! My doctor was all booked up so I was forced to go to First care, where I sat and waited 2 hours to see a doctor! I explained my symptoms and he took a look into my eyes and diagnosed me with Pink Eye! ah! what? how did I get that? so I was subscribed some eye drops to help. It is getting a little better, the worst thing is is waking up in the morning with your eyes stuck shut because of the goop! and also the itch gets so bad I feel like scratching my eyes out! I hope I can return to normal soon.

Utah Family

This past week on our way home from Utah we decided to stop by to see some family in St. George. My mother's sister Ann and her husband live there. It was so Hot that day 110*. We stayed for dinner and headed to Las Vegas for the night.

Ann just loved Jazelle. She wanted to keep her.

My Mom's nephew Jon and his Dad. Bob.

Kaleb was being a little camera shy.

Jon and Jazelle.

I think she wanted to keep Kaleb too.
Kaleb had a great time there, he was shy at first but then warmed up very quickly. He showed them all of his toys in his backback, and played with their dogs. He ate all his dinner and was very polite. "yes Dad" "please and Thank you" anything you can think of. I have no idea where it came from. Anyways it was so nice to spend time with family you haven't seen in ages! We are going to make it a tradition to visit them everytime we are heading up to Utah.
You can tell they were so excited that we came. It was sweet.

Daddy's Helper

Kaleb loves to help Jason do anything! especially if he gets to use his tools.
His favorite tool is his green hammer and screw driver.
Kaleb is such a big help, the other day he helped wash Jason's car, and he helped build our tent in the backyard, and even helped fix Jason's car!
It seems like on the weekends all Kaleb wants to do is be with Daddy.
I love how he gets so excited to help Daddy. He sure loves him.

Father's Day

Father's Day was a good day. It started out with me cooking Jason breakfast in the morning,
I had made breakfast burritos, they were pretty yummy. We then went to church, and Kaleb had made a great Father's Day present in Nursery. They had asked the children why they love their Dad, and Kaleb said " I love my Dad because he plays shooting games with me!" Jason also received 3 ties I found on Clearance at Kohl's! for $4 each!

I just wanted to add Jason is a really good Father. Kaleb looks up to him and wants to be just like him. Jazelle just loves him, she smiles at him every time he looks at her. Jason is such a hard worker and does very well providing for our family. I am grateful to have him in my life.

Rest In Peace

Thursday June 25Th, 2009
Micheal Jackson died.
How sad is that? I remember listening to his music when I was a child and dancing along to it. I remember my sister Destiny being obsessed with him. I believe he was a great artist and his music was always so uplifting and fun. He did become weird in the end but I know people will always remember him. So this past weekend we went to His house that he had passed away in and also visited the house where his Mother lives. It is so great living in Los Angeles! While looking up the addresses Jason realized that he Passes by MJ's Mother's house everyday on his way to work! on his short cut! And Micheal's house was just 20 min from there. It was a great day, a little hot, but we loved being together. Jason felt all professional with our new camera. I even saw Jay Leno drive right in front of me, as I was waiting to cross the street! I tease Jason about it because he missed it. Also I forgot to mention when we got to Micheal's parent's house Kaleb says.. "some one's having a Birthday party!" how cute and innocent.

Family Visit

Last week Kaleb, Jazelle and I went to my Aunt's house in Palmdale to visit them and my Mom. My Mom just got out of the hospital and was staying at my aunt's house to recover. It was so nice to see them, and have lunch. That same day we learned that Micheal Jackson had passed away!
