Turkey Day

I am Grateful for Family, Friends and the Gospel.
Espescialy for Jason and how much of a hard worker he is, and loving father.

Kaleb is grateful for Turkey, Mommy and Daddy, and Family.

Thanksgiving we were in Utah. We had a wonderful Turkey dinner and it was fun to see all the family.

First Snow

We arrived in Utah Tuesday night. We were so happy to see Nona and Papa G after a long drive from Vegas. Luckily they had got some snow the night before and Kaleb was so excited to play in it. Living in California we did not have any snow clothes, so Nona went down stairs in her closet and found Kaleb and outfit.
Doesn't he look cute?

He had a blast! he tasted snow for the first time too! and was lessoned to only eat the white snow.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving we spent a week in Utah with family. We decided to split the drive up and stayed in Las Vegas. It was perfect! Having two kids one potty trained and having to drive 12 hours didn't sound like a good idea to me. We arrived Monday night in Vegas and stayed in the Excalibur hotel. (the castle hotel is what Kaleb calls it)

It was a chilly night when we arrived, and still early in the evening so we decided to go out on the strip.

We walked all the way to the Bellagio hotel to watch the fountain show. Neither Jason and I have ever seen it before. It was amazing.

Kaleb loved it, but Jazelle wasn't to sure about it.

We then headed in for the night.

Sea World

We went back to Sea World using our free ticket a few weeks ago and had a blast. The last time we went Jazelle was quite young and Kaleb was still in diapers. This time around Jazelle could focus on what she was looking at and Kaleb was Potty trained!! We went on a Monday morning, the weather was supposed to be chilly but ended up beautiful. We also saw a friend of mine there, her and her husband were celebrating their anniversary. So we started our day out with the Clydesdale horses, they are so beautiful.

This time around we watched the Animal show. It's amazing what animals can do. All the animals were adopted by Sea World and trained.

After the show you got to go up and meet the animals.

We also Dined with Shamu! it was so much fun. There was an all you can eat Buffet with yummy food. Shamu and his friend were swimming around in the tank next to you, doing tricks the trainer would tell them. She gave facts about these animals and answered questions. My friend Amy was there and got a great seat, and let Kaleb sit with her and her husband during the show.

Jazelle is a miss busy body. We are trying to get her to walk more. She does really great while holding on to your hands. It was a little break for her from the stroller and she loved it.

I am so grateful to be able to take my family places and create memories.

She's 1!

Happy Birthday Jazelle!

Jazelle had her 1st birthday on October 28. I can't believe how fast time has gone by. She is such a sweet baby and is as cute as ever. She loves her older brother and wants to do the things he does. She is starting to take steps but still prefers crawling. She is loosing her appetite for baby food and would rather eat "real" food. She loves to put things on her head, and will laugh at herself from time to time. Jazelle also loves music and will twist her body or clap to the rhythm.
Jazelle has finally gotten 2 bottom teeth. She is still only 16lbs and 27 inches long. She may be small but she sure can stand up for herself! She will complain and fight back if Kaleb is trying to take something away from her. We love her so much, she brings so much joy into our lives.

Santa Barbara Zoo

A week before Jazelle's birthday we decided to go to the Santa Barbara Zoo as an early celebration. She loves animals so we thought this would be the perfect place.
It was a beautiful warm day.

My favorite picture.

The famous grass hill that the kids slide down.
Kaleb could have stayed here all day.

Halloween

Halloween this year was fun for us all. It was Jazelle's 1 st official Halloween, since last year her and I were returning home from the hospital. She did not go trick or treating because she crashed right after our Ward Halloween Party. Our Ward Party was on Halloween this year, I was unable to join in on the festivities because I was working the Kitchen. My committee and I were in charge of the dinner, we had nachos, and let me tell you they were a hit. I thought I had bought enough food but by the middle of the party the condiments were quickly disappearing. We had Chili, black beans, sour cream, salsa, olives, jalapeƱos, shredded cheese, as well as nacho cheese. As for the drinks I was given a punch recipe made up of Orange juice, orange aid, and orange flavored sparkling water. We put the mixture in a witches cauldron and topped it off with some dry ice! it was very tasty. This year to the youth were in charge of a spook alley, it was very well put together. They had a non scare version for the little one's so I took Kaleb and Jazelle. Games were set up in the cultural hall and a Trunk or Treat was the ending of it all. I had a great time, and so did our family. I felt bad because Jason had to take care of Jazelle and Kaleb while I worked, and did not get any pictures of the event.
