Sundays
So on Sundays we started a tradition of taking a little walk as a family in the late afternoons, when the weather cools. We used to take Kaleb in the stroller now that he walks we ditch the stoller and he walks on his own. It's so much fun seeing him explore everything outside,, stopping at every crack, touching the ground, and even running back and forth over the speed bumps. So we wanted to share with you soe pictues from last Sunday.

Another Dancing video
Well on a Happier note, we have another great dancer in the Family, and here is a video to prove it, Turn up the Volume! and Enjoy!
Freaky Friday!
Fridays are my most stressful days! I watch my nieghbor Daniel who is 2 days older than Kaleb. I watch him from 8:30 - 5:00. let me tell you it's the hardest thing I've ever done, cause I have Daniel crying all day long because he wants his mommy, then I have my jealous son crying off and on because he doesn't want me to give attention to Daniel. And on top of that I was watching a 4 yr old girl, she is part of the daycare my friend started up. so you can say I was going out of my mind! Well here is the story.. so I decided to put the boys down for nap! Kaleb in his room and Daniel in ours. so after about a half hour of Daniel crying I went to check on him and walked into this horrible smelling bedroom! he had messed his diaper! so I went to go air out my room by opening our sliding glass door, so I open it and to my dismay there it was a Black Widow spider in the crack of the door, not on the bottom, not on the top, but right in the middle! This thing was huge! and it freaked me out! I quickly slammed the door hoping I had killed it! then quickly called Jason scared out of my mind. Still I had to change this foul smelling diaper. Jason told me to spray around the door, I did from the outside. Later I went to check on it and it had crawled out of the crack and was crawling on the inside of the screen! so I quickly grapped the bug spray and drowned it to death! I wanted the thing to Die! I really hate spiders! so here is the pictureI I took of it!
Now you see why I called it Freaky Friday!

Story Time
So at our local library they have storytime for the kids. At storytime they read books, sing songs, color, and do alittle dancing. Kaleb and I started going again and decided to invite one of his close friends Daniel. They both had a blast. We also meet more of Kaleb's friends there. It is great to see all the little kids his age having fun together.
My Little Helper
Every morning for Breakfast I try to make something different for Kaleb. Because he doesn't like to have the same things in a row! So I decided this morning I would make pancakes, his favorite. And he decided he wanted to help, so I let him, and it almost got out of hand but I saved it.
They turned out really yummy and we ate them all up!

Labor Day
Labor Day weekend was very fun, yet busy! First it started on saturday. Jason, Kaleb & I went out to dinner to the Olive Garden. Kaleb was busy walking up and down the hallway as we waited for our seats. And suprisingly enough he was mistaken AGAIN to be a girl! A few people commented on how beautiful "she" was. We still don't see it! He is plainly a boy to us. A girl added that she just looked at his eyes and thought he was a girl because they were so beautiful! When I told them that he was a boy, they said " wow he's a pretty boy". Well I'm grateful to have such a "pretty boy" but come on people!
Sunday we had a few friends over for dinner. Here are Kaleb's friends that came, notice all girls! haha. They had so much fun playing together. We are so grateful to have such nice friends. And our kids are so close in age. ( in the picture.. Aurora, the twins.. Alise & Kierra, and Kaleb)
Kaleb here is feeding his "girlfriend" Aurora some watermelon. How sweet.
And finally Monday Labor Day! We decided to go to the Santa Barbara Zoo! Kaleb got to face forward for the first time that day, and had a blast!
So we arrive at the zoo around 12:00 and eat lunch, Kaleb is so eager to get out and chase the birds, so Jason takes Kaleb out for a walk and comes back with Kaleb crying. He had fallen down and scraped his nose! poor baby. But that didn't keep him from having fun the rest of the day.
The beggining of the day Kaleb would sit nicely in his stroller, and look at the animals, until he figured out that he can get out and walk. So the rest of the day all he wanted to do was walk, he wasn't really interested in the animals to much.

There was no stopping him once he started!
We had so much fun at the zoo. Kaleb and I even got to feed the Giraffes!
That same day we went to the Pier right down the street from the zoo, and got ice cream.
We also went to this little Museum Of Natural History on the pier.
So that was our weekend! Hope you all had as much fun as we did!
