Growing up

Jazelle is now 15 months old and is a busy healthy girl. She still is on the low weight/height side for her age but is just petite. (19lbs and 28 inches) She loves playing with Kaleb and wants to do everything he does and wants to have everything he has. Jazelle loves to put anything and everything on her head, one day I caught her with a pair of Kaleb's underwear.
Lately she is trying to become independent by removing her clothes and trying to put them back on. She loves shoes, reading books, dancing and singing. She does not walk but runs everywhere. She can say a few words and tries to copy what you say. ( momma, Hi, doggy) She is very smart and understands commands that you give her, her favorite is to go wake up brother! She loves her daddy, when he comes home or even comes out from waking up she will let out a big squeal and run to him. She loves to give him hi fives as he leaves for work. Stuffed animals are her favorite to cuddle, she loves to eat but still only has 3 teeth.
Jazelle brings so much joy to my life and I am grateful she is part of our little family.

Kaleb is 3 1/2 yrs old and impresses us everyday. He will come home and tell us what he has learned that day either from school or church. He has a great memory. 2 weeks ago he was chosen to say the opening prayer in front of the whole junior Primary.
He did a great job and informed his teacher he did not need any help that he can do it all by himself. Jason and I were there to support him.
It went something like this...
"Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for this beautiful day. Thank you for mom and dad, Thank you for the scriptures. Thank you for my family, Bless mom and dad, Bless the scriptures so that we can read them, etc. etc. bless that we can go to to the waffle house. Says these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen" It was so adorable he kept rambling and going on I thought he would never stop, as soon as he did he had all the Primary giggling. I am so proud of him, and how he loves to pray.

Kaleb also enjoys going to school. I wish it were for more days but he does take everything in that he learns. I am always surprised when he recognizes a letter and tells me. I have bought him an additional activity book to help him learn to write letters and numbers.

Kaleb has such a wonderful personality and loves to be loved. I am truly grateful to have him in my life.
