My doctor's appt.

So today I had my doctor's appt. I am 35 weeks along now! yay! Things are going great, I am measuring a little small. Surprise surprise, so the doctor ordered for me to get another ultrasound to check things out. I feel great, still getting the usual back pain and not enough sleep! My body is starting to wake up every 2 hours ahhh! Kaleb and Jason are treating me well. I still have no date yet set for my C-section, still waiting for that. Other than that everything is good!

My doctor's appt.

So today I had another doctor's appt. Everything was normal as always, I was measuring fine, the heart beat was fine, blood pressure was still good, but the most shocking was my weight, 2 weeks ago I weighed 131 today I weighed 138! a whole 7 pounds I had gained in 2 weeks! I thought how is that possible? The ladies were even shocked, they asked what I was eating, I have been hardly eating as much as I should. weird. So now I know why I've been having such horrible back pain. well that's my story.

Cooking

Well as some of you know I really don't enjoy cooking at all, I mean what's so fun about chopping and cutting and running back and forth in the kitchen adding here stirring there? Well lately I've been trying to better myself as a house wife and cooking decent meals for my hubby. So Monday night I try to think of things to cook, I love the internet so that's where I look up recipes, since my hubby went on his Mission to Louisiana I decided to try and make Jambalaya! I found a crock pot recipe nonetheless so I would have to stand over a stove forever, it was still a lot of preparation, and ingredients, but it turned out absolutely yummy! Yay me! My husband even seemed to enjoy it! So we will see.

Date Night

Saturday night Jason and I had the opportunity to go on a date night! Finally, I am so grateful for my sister for watching Kaleb for us. Our night consisted of dinner and going to see the Body Worlds 3 Exhibit at the California Science Center.

The Exhibit consisted of real human bodies, posed in a variety of positions, that have undergone a process called “plastination” to preserve them. The show also features healthy and diseased organs side by side for a visual comparison. My most favorite part was looking at the stages of Life which included Placenta's, and Fetus's from 5 weeks to 32 weeks! It was very real seeing it in real life because you only hear and see in magazine's what they look like. It was also very sad knowing that these precious babies have passed. The most amazing thing was to see a 9 week old fetus had fingers and toes! all so tiny. As for the Adult human bodies it was very educational to see what your insides looked like. All the muscles and even your brain! Next Time you all should check it out at least once. It was so nice to spend the time with Jason and just talk. He is such a hard worker and I Love him so much. I hope to have many more Date Nights!

I need a Vacation!

So my husband left again yesterday for out of town, on business. His destination this time was to Good old Hawaii!!!!! He will be there till saturday. No Fair! He just informed me that the hotel he is staying in is great! His room over looks the beach and so forth. And I informed him that I was here stuck with three 2 yr olds, one having a fit and hitting another, and no peace whatsoever. Well I hope he enjoys himself, he will be taking me out Saturday night, so I can regain my sanity.

My doctor's appt.

Today I went to my usual doctors appt. I'm 31 weeks now! can't believe it. I am at the weight of 131lbs and have only gained 11 pounds so far? I was shocked also. The doctor said she wasn't worried because the baby is measuring at 31 weeks and doing very well. Her heart rate was at 152 beats very fast. So I am at the point where I am going every 2 weeks! yahoo! I can't wait to meet our little angel!

"Good Morning!"

So some of you have known that I have had some problems with Kaleb and what time he's been waking up in the morning. Here's the deal... Kaleb started waking up cranky in the morning, so I thought he must not be getting enough sleep! so I moved his bedtime from 8 - 7:30pm he seemed a little bit more rested but still a little cranky. We continued this for about a month or so then he started waking at 6 am then suddenly moved to 5- 5:30 am. I wanted to pull my hair out! Since I wasn't getting enough sleep myself. So after getting tired of this, we decided to move his bedtime back to 8 -8:30. And we've explained to him time and time again that when the sun goes down and the moon comes out it is night time time to sleep, and when the suns comes out and it is light it is time to wake up! We've also told him not to call out for mommy when it is still dark because she is sleeping, it took a while for this to sink in but he finally got it! This morning, I usually wake up conscientiously at 5 since I was used to it, didn't hear a peep. Then fell back asleep till 7am! went into his room and by my surprise he was standing in his crib with his little crib aquarium toy on waiting for me to get him. I happily and excitedly said "Good Morning" with a great big smile on my face, and he returned the favor by saying "Good Morning" I missed you!" oh how sweet. He gave me a big hug as I picked him up from his crib. Now my recent struggle with him is nap time! aaahhh!
